HCS 235 Week 5 Health Care Costs Presentation Learning Team Assignment – Health Care Costs Presentation Health care costs continue to rise for the United States Health Care Delivery System and are projected to consume an ever increasing portion of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Currently, the United States spends more money on health care than any other country and those costs are only expected to continue to rise significantly in the future. It is important to understand the history of health care costs, attempts to slow or control costs and the end result of high health care costs on all stakeholders. Think of this as a presentation you could give to a policy-making body at the county, state or federal level to demonstrate how the rising costs of health care affect consumers, businesses, health care facilities, health care workers, and the government.
